NetVault products have been added to Quest.com in a new Data Protection solution area.
The Quest-branded product names for the former BakBone products are as follows:

• Quest® NetVault® Backup
• Quest® NetVault® SmartDisk
• Quest® NetVault® FastRecover
• Quest® NetVault® Replicator
• Quest® NetVault® Bare Metal Recovery

The BakBone brand still appears within the products themselves as well as on office and building signage, the BakBone Website and associated URLs. As of April 1st 2011, the company is now officially “Quest Software”. Where it is necessary to refer to the products in messaging, the NetVault brand will be used, since that is the go-forward brand for our Quest Data Protection product family.

Confirmation has been received from Noriko Kinoshita in our Tokyo office that all of the BakBone and Quest related people are safe. Because of obvious transportation and power disruption, many need to take refuge in the office overnight.
